Old Telegraph Station, Eucla, Western Australia The Eucla Telegraph Station, on the end of the Nullarbor Plain, was an important repeating and translation station on the telegraph line opened in 1877. The sand started to cover the original settlement after a rabbit plague stripped and destabilised the dune system in the 1890's.
